I’ve been involved in sport for as long as I can remember. From playing for local football teams to earning a place at Havant and Waterlooville Ladies and then back to AFC Portchester, football has always been a huge part of my life. After battling a recurring groin injury, I thought I’d have to hang up my boots for good. But instead of stepping away from the world of sport, it pushed me deeper into it.

I’m still playing football now (back at portchester for the last 5 years, back to my roots from when I was 7!)— and honestly, I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.

After completing my first year of university in Sport and Exercise Science, gaining my PT qualification, and spending the last 8 years in the gym refining effective training methods (and learning a lot about my own body along the way). I’m so passionate — about helping other women walk the same path.

For me, exercise should be fun and empowering. It shouldn’t feel like a punishment or a “must.” It should become something you need and want because of how it makes you feel — strong, capable, and confident.

My mission goes beyond aesthetics. I want women to be independent at 70. To carry their own shopping, to travel, to move freely, to feel powerful in their own bodies for life.

Being fit and strong hasn’t just helped me physically — it’s carried me through some incredibly stressful situations mentally. Training has been my anchor. It’s also expanded my world. It’s given me the confidence to travel solo, to step outside my comfort zone, and to realise just how capable I really am.

Emma and I also host a podcast where we talk about all of it — training, mindset, women’s health, and yes… hormones (because mine can genuinely make me feel like a nutcase some weeks). We have honest conversations about the realities of being a woman — how our cycles affect performance, mood, confidence — and how strength training can support us through it all rather than working against us. And then there’s Lift, Thrive & Strive — a community I’m so proud of. These women are absolutely killing it and we’re only going from strength to strength. It’s more than just gym sessions now, with run clubs and walking groups launching over the next few months. It’s about building strong bodies, strong minds, and strong friendships.
This isn’t just fitness to me. It’s freedom. It’s resilience. It’s independence. And I’m here to help more women realise they’re capable of so much more than they think.
